Yaqub Mujahid has been working as Country Manager, HarvestPlus-Pakistan since 2018. He received his PhD degree from Colorado State University, Ft. Collins, USA in Plant Breeding and Genetics and M.SC (Hons.) from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He has also been working as Director, Nutritious Agri. Future Pvt. Ltd since 2022. He spent most of his career as a lead breeder and National Coordinator-Wheat at Pakistan Agricultural Research Council Islamabad, the apex organization in agriculture research and coordination before joining HarvestPlus team in 2013. He has the extensive experience of research and coordination with the national and international research centres. He has run and coordinated various national and international research projects.
